Description
The role
You will be the part of an engineering team works closely with the product and professional services teams to define and develop the features needed to capture, virtualise and deploy applications for our customers. Within the team we love to keep up to date with the latest engineering practices so we aim to keep the feedback cycles on new features as rapid as possible and follow a philosophy of continuous improvement. We write our products primarily in C# and C++ but we believe in using the right tools for the right job so we have the flexibility to choose the right technology or language to get the job done.
You'll need to be:
Naturally comfortable working for in a small agile team with people who want to learn and develop together Keen to work with your Professional Services to find solutions to our customer's needs colleges innovative Willing to exploit new technologies to deliver value for our customers
you'll need commercial experience in:
- OO SOLID
- 3+ Years of C++/C# on a Windows Platform
- Product development in one or more of the following domains; Backup Solutions, Application Virtualisation, Anit-virus or other Kernal/Usermode Drivers Products
t would be nice if you had experience in:
- Previous experience of working in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or XP) environment
- BDD/TDD
- Continuous integration
- Windows Internals
- Virtualisation Domain Knowledge
- Desktop Application Development
