An Automotive Tier 1 company based near Oxford is currently recruiting for a Senior Electronics Engineer on a contract basis to assist with a large project with a European OEM.
Role: Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: near Oxford
Rate: circa £40 per hour
Duration: 6 months rolling
Start Date: June 2017
Main Purpose of the Role
Product Development for interior automotive electronics module through to PSW for leading European Automotive OEM.
Key activities include:
*Management of custom electronics/electrical design from first sample stage to mass production
*Analysis of DV test failures (eg EMC) and technical resolution
*Technical support towards OEM, internal engineering teams and suppliers
*Supporting electronics testing
Essential Technical Skills
*Expert/Good electronics skills (inc. Digital, Analogue, PCB board design and layout)
*Experience of electrical testing inc automotive EMC standards
*Automotive electronics experience
*Experienced in interfacing with the customer for project management issues
Desirable Technical Skills
*Software skills (C/C++, script writing)
*Good system level understanding eg understand complete complex electronic systems.
*Control electronics
*Prior Experience of opto-electronic device development
*Prior experience of international team working
