Embedded Software Engineer - South London - Contract - £40.00-£45.00per hour
iO Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading medical device company based in south London.
The company have forged a reputation as innovators and leaders in a highly competitive field and are currently undergoing a growth plan due to sustained investment and increased market share.
This will suit an Embedded Software engineer with the following skills/experience:
Excellent C/C++ programming experience in an Embedded environment
Working in a controlled environment (safety critical eg Avionics, Rail, Defence, Medical)
Risk Analysis, safety critical systems, design documentation and general software life cycle experience
Software verification and validation
Familiarity with Microchip PIC microcontrollers
Previous work to MISRA standard
It is also preferred that the right candidate will have the following experience:
Good understanding of hardware (HDL, testing/debugging, digital/analogue, Pneumatics design)
BSc or MSc in Engineering in Mechanical; Chemical; Aerospace; Composite Automation; Computer Science; Electronics experience
