Cards/Payments Specialist: (Open Loop, Closed Loop, Merchant Acquiring)
My client is looking for a Cards and Payments Specialist for a 9-12 month assignment, candidates can be based remotely but some travel is expected for the work. The role offers a competitive daily rate and the client is looking to get someone on site as soon as possible.
Additional Notes:
- Occasional travel is expected, mainly London where client is based and Morocco where the 3rd party is based
Must Have Essential Key skills & Background:
- 15 + years Detailed cards and payments knowledge backed up a strong track record of program delivery covering.
- Open Loop (Visa/MasterCard/Amex/Diners/etc) and Closed Loop (Fleet Card Programs, Loyalty).
- Merchant Acquiring for all schemes and card types.
- All Back Office Processes but in particular settlement.
- A global view of cards and payments with experience of operating and delivering in multiple geographies.
- A working knowledge of new payment evolution and industry trends - in particular mobile/digital.
- Excellent communication skills (internal - external).
- The ability to act and influence as an expert shaping client strategies and delivery.
- Team player - experience working in global delivery team.
- Experience working with 3rd party products - integrator role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the PowerCard settlement modules (3rd party product).
- Knowledge of the retail client environment.
