Front End Web Developer - HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Agile, GIT/or similar
Duties
Responsible for the design, development, unit testing and delivery of webpage (client-side) software for operational systems. Initially for 3-6 months with strong possibility of extension.
Essential Skills
- Experience of Front End (client-side) software development
- Experience in developing Front End web UI using HTML5 & JavaScript.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs (ideally for integration with thin-client webpages & apps)
- Familiarity with current software development methods, including Agile
- Experience of using a source control framework such as GIT
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with AngularJS
- Familiarity with frameworks for delivering thin-client webpages
- Familiarity with Online Retail and/or Shopping Cart software
- Familiarity with the development of multi-lingual webpages
- Familiarity with UX principles for delivering webpages that are intuitive and easy-to-use with zero training
- Familiarity with Mobile Web development
