Looking for a Software Engineer focusing on the Frontend who can build world-class applications that are reliable, fast, responsive, and beautiful, delivering a breathtaking product experience to our customers.
The right candidate will work amongst a small team of developers to design and integrate user-centric interfaces that are brand consistent, while also working in a flexible environment, allowing work from home options.
He/she should be capable at:
- JavaScript
- CSS, HTML
- Professional experience with frameworks
- Angular 2
- EmberJS
- React
- (Angular 2 is our framework of choice).
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with complex, high-data volume web application front-ends.
- 5+ years of JavaScript development experience, not simply jQuery.
- 5+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, Bootstrap and responsive design.
- User interaction and user experience design experience, with a focus on creating usable interfaces to complex problems.
- Understand how the web browsers work, can leverage browser capabilities and contend with different browsers across multiple operating systems.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- 3+ years of JavaScript development experience with ES6, AngularJS, EmberJS, React (Angular 2 is our framework of choice).
- Experience with CSS tools and functionality like Flexbox, Sass and Less.
- Understanding of JavaScript tools like webpack, Gulp, Bower and npm.
- Experience with RESTful services and JSON APIs.
All candidates must submit links, URLs, and on-line portfolios of their work that can demonstrate their visual design acumen.
We aren't going to bother with candidates who can't even put their work out there in a visual form.
That's a hard requirements of position.
Preference will be given to actual live Angular 2 sites as well.
