Your Key Responsibilities
As a member of our clients product team within Product Design and Development, you will own a key area of the Product Experience definition for that area of the business in Europe and the UK. You will have end-to-end responsibility for feature areas within the roadmap, developing them through initial brief to customer launch.
This role will work closely with the UX Design, Hardware, Software Engineering, Insight and European Product teams to ensure delivery to the agreed timings, whilst working with Product Marketing teams to ensure delivery aligns with key product unique selling points and go to market plans. You will also work with business readiness and customer-facing teams to ensure customer experience is simple yet amazing.
You will:
- Own and drive the product requirements and customer experience of your product area from initial concept to customer launch.
- Gain alignment and sign-off from all stakeholders (internal and third party) where and when appropriate.
- As the advocate for the customer, define an exceptional customer experience for your product area across every customer touch-point with our client.
- Build relationships across all the key stakeholders in the business to understand and translate their needs into the right product development initiatives.
- Input to the strategy and long term plan for your product area, and ensure current product development initiatives support long term product and corporate direction.
- Drive product and customer experience insight through customer trials of new products, and leverage these findings to continually enhance the customer value proposition of new product innovations.
Your Skills
- MUST HAVE IPTV EXPERIENCE.
- In our clients product development and innovation environment, you will need to be a self-motivated quick learner who is ambitious and can work both independently and within teams.
- Demonstrate a proven track record delivering multiple products from idea to launch
- Have experience in product development, product management, or technology, preferably from the TV, Telco, media or consumer electronics industry
- Have the ability to identify customer needs and effectively translate those needs into the definition and development of new products.
- Have a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholders, and to take a leadership role in difficult situations where clear lines of authority are not always possible.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey concepts effectively and show thought leadership.
- Experience working closely with software and hardware engineering teams
