EmberJS Developer
You'll be passionate about the web application development and will have a rounded experience in software engineering. You'll have great communication skills and an ability to thrive in an agile team. You'll have experience with modern javascript frameworks (such as EmberJS, Angular or React) and with the modern Node based web development tooling stack (Yarn/Webpack/Broccoli etc) and you'll be eager to push these frameworks hard.
Job Responsibilities:
· Contributing to the development of next generation single page web trading platform in a highly-collaborative agile team with short iterations and daily releases
· Creating automated unit tests, liaising with QA and users for Acceptance Testing
· Keeping up-to-date with current and future technologies as they relate to own and team's areas of work
· Perform daily production releases with continuous delivery as well as performance monitoring.
· Collaborate during the design and implementation phases to provide technical solutions that support/enhance stakeholder objectives and the user experience.
Essential:
· Have worked with modern JavaScript frameworks
· Have worked with Unit Testing frameworks for JavaScript
· Have demonstrable track record in web application architecture
· Have used RESTful web-services using JSON
Desirable:
· EmberJS experience
Skills
Essential:
· Proficiency in Object Oriented and/or Functional programming
· Deep understanding of core javascript
· Proficiency in test driven development
· Proficiency with Chrome's developer tools, particularly for performance optimisation
· Skilled in basic agile development processes and toolset
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced cross-functional team
· Eye for detail and identifying problems
· Skilled in tracking tasks and issues
