Kentico CMS Integration C#.Net Developer - Contract
Central London
Immediate starter preferred - 2-3 months + with good chance of further extension.
Leading public sector focused systems house and MS Gold Partner requires full stack C#.NET Web Developer to initially undertake a piece of work to investigate and make recommendations on the re-development of a substantial web-site that they are taking over the running of for a new client of theirs. You must have current or recent experience working with Kentico CMS.
This is a great opportunity to spend 3 months + as part of a friendly, growing, multi-site .NET team. The successful applicant will be comfortable working on both full-stack application development projects. Experience of Kentico CMS integration is a must. Exposure to other CMS such as Sitecore and or Umbraco will help gain future work.
Development activities core to this role will be undertaken with Visual C# .NET, SQL Server and MVC
Skills and experience required:
Good Computing related degree and/or advanced Microsoft Certified Professional accreditation are preferred
Strong commercial Microsoft .NET web development background essential
Solid MVC ASP.NET using C#.Net
Full life cycle and full stack experienced (Front End, API, database)
Solid database understanding, with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL to stored procedure level
CMS experience specifically with Kentico (essential)
Ability to work through an existing system and effectively consult on the future proofing and updating of quality large scale web sites and to provide provide CMS integration services
Good team player with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Self-motivated, with an ability to plan and work independently and to tight timescales within a fast-paced development environment
Any client-side Scripting with Angular, JQuery or similar of interest

Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture principles (SOA)
