Description

Stott and May's client, a well reputed Securities company based in Hampshire is looking for an excellent Full stack developer to join their growing team in Hampshire.

Job Tasks;

These are the tasks you undertake on a regular basis which make up your job role in order to deliver the objectives
Develop functional and non-functional features including tests and documentation as specified by the project stage and task description.
Write subsystem specifications which can be used by other developers.
Take control and ownership of pieces of code created by other developers, even outside our company.
Take responsibility for mentoring and coaching placement students.
Follow the guidelines regarding tools and applications that can be used in the projects.
Follow code conventions as defined in the corresponding guidelines document.
Be responsible to raise warnings if unable to keep the deadlines on the assigned tasks, ensuring the Scrum Team can take appropriate actions.
Be responsible to raise any concerns regarding implementations or specs as soon as they come up.
Keep close communication with other members of the Scrum Team.
Keep the Senior Developer up to date on any technical decisions.
Understand and be able to work with revision control software, software packaging and releases.
Define estimates for user stories and tasks.
Attend and actively participate in the daily standup and other meetings.
Keep project tracking tools updated by properly setting the status of each task.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential
Significant experience of the full SDLC on a Linux or Windows platform
Significant experience of Typescript and other similar Scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc).
Experience of using any of the industry Cloud providers (Amazon, Microsoft, Google)
Experience of developing/architecting microservices
Experience of source code management (Git)
Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to carry out research, learn new technical concepts and find solutions to complex technical problems.

Desirable
Technical experience of Devops Pipelines.
Experience of using Microsoft Azure.
Experience of using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
Experience of NoSQL storage databases.
Experience of Agile software development.
