ETL Developer-6 Month contract-Dublin
As an ETL developer you will be responsible for design and development of the key database and data integration components of the MIS metrics dashboard system in my clients Securities Services technology group. The role will focus on the development and testing of a data preparation layer for a Business Intelligence project. The data will comprise millions of financial transactions on a daily basis across the full range of financial instruments and asset classes. The system will ultimately provide high quality metrics and operational dashboards to internal and external system users, over complete data quality system
Job Skills
Candidates will have excellent development history indicating expertise across the full SDLC preferably in the finance/insurance industry - demonstrating previous experience with ETL technologies and in particular with Talend. Excellent SQL query and PL/SQL development skills will be required as a means to enable high performance data movement and transformation.
- 5+ years software development experience
- Excellent understanding ETL/EDM tools such as Talend, CADIS and/or Ab Initio are a must have.
- Excellent SQL query development and optimization skills (PL/SQL, SQL,)
- Experience with database technologies preferably Oracle but other database knowledge is helpful
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Primary degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
- Oracle Certification (desirable).
