Proximus is the biggest telecom provider in Belgium and uses state of the art technology to offer the best quality to our customers. Inside the WEC domain, responsible for the web applications delivery, we are looking for a Microservice developer to join our team. You will be part of an Agile team working in two week sprints delivering customer facing applications.
Key Role:
Design and implement microservice-based solutions to support Back End processing.
Create RESTful Web services to expose and process data.
Contribute within a DevOps enabled continuous integration environment.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with object-oriented languages, including Java or C#
-Experience with RESTful service writing frameworks
-Experience with microservices development and design patterns
-Experience with domain driven design
-Experience with using development tools, including JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins
-Experience with developing in Agile teams
-Ability to write quality unit and end-to-end tests and debug and optimize existing and new code
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Spring, Netflix or similar service frameworks
-Experience with openshift of other Paas
-Experience with developing within a Cloud environment, including AWS or Azure
-Experience with different types of data storage solutions, including Elasticsearch, SQL, Hadoop, CouchDB or MongoDB
