Systems Engineer - System Design/UML/Rhapsody, DOORS, Marine/Maritime, INCOSE
Exciting systems engineering opportunities are available with our Defence and Maritime clients based in the Dorchester and Weymouth locations. Potential long term contracts, working on the latest Submarine, Surface Combatant and Marine Security Systems.
Overview:
Responsible for delivering key system engineering outputs throughout the product life cycle.
Knowledge and skills:
*Must have experience in working of engineering projects and in managing/leading system engineering activities
*Practitioner level system engineering principles (ie: INCOSE methods)
*Experience in development of military or preferably marine systems
*Experience of designing products requiring multiple design aspects
*Good communication skills, including presentation and group discussions
*Strong familiarity with Standards (Military biased Def Stan, Mil-Spec.)
*Experience in requirements management. Use of DOORS or DOORS NG (preferred)
*Use of design methods and tools. Use of UML/Enterprise Architect (preferred)
