SC Cleared Data Architect - Portsmouth - 15 months
My client currently has an urgent 15 month contract opportunity for an SC Cleared Data Architect to be based in Portsmouth.
The chosen candidate will be need to have immediate availability as well as experience relevant to the job specification detailed below:
(1) Act as the Data Workstream SI Lead in EBS Phase 2.
(2) In context of the existing Data Management Governance and Strategy, write the EBS Phase 2 Data Approach. This Approach should cover both what Phase 2 aims to deliver in support of the Data Strategy but also explicitly state what Phase 2 can't deliver and therefore, what should be on a Roadmap beyond Phase2.
In addition to the Data Conversion Approach and Plan that is already in existence, this Phase 2 Data Approach should, at a minimum cover the following subjects:
a. Population (or creation of) of the existing Data Architecture/Model that will support the delivery of the Information Architecture Deliverable in the DRM
b. EBS Phase 2 Engagement with the Maritime Services Data community' of Business Data Owners, Guardians, etc.
c. The approach that will be taken to define (across the To-Be Application Architecture) the:
i. Lifecycle Management processes (CRUD operations) associated with the Data Objects that the Approach defines as in scope for Phase 2.
ii. Capture/definition/updating of Retention rules with the in scope' Data Objects
iii. Support to - any parallel activity that is implementing an Archiving Strategy and Toolset to deliver on the Retention Rules.
iv. Support to - the Data, Information and Document Security strategy/policies that are relevant to the in scope' Data Objects. Most especially supporting the effort to assure (a) users can only access the data they should within an application but also (b) that information/data passing between applications through interfaces is secure' (in context of those strategies/policies).
(3) Develop a plan to implement the Approach in the context of the Phase 2 Scope and Timeline
(4) Deliver a Blueprint' to cover the use of the SAP BODS ( Data Services ) tool set, including Information Steward, in delivery the following capabilities
- To support the ETL processing required for Phase 2 Data Conversion
- To support the transport of Data between Core EBS Phase 2 systems (S/4, MS Dynamics, MS Project, etc) in support of MI delivery
- Deliver integration, eg to and from S/4 and the Titanium platform'
- Enrich/cleanse existing Production data (in S/4, IFS or other systems) as part of Productive BAU operations.
