SQL Database Administrator | Copenhagen | 3 months | SQL, DBA, Dynamics AX
Square One are actively looking for a SQL DBA with very strong experience working with Dynamic AX for a 3 month rolling contract working with a major client of ours in Denmark to performTechnical Application Maintenance of the new Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3 solution currently being implemented at manufacturing sites in Thailand.
The scope of responsibility will be the following:
Establish monitoring and measurements of the AX2012 production setup
Analyze issues like SQL blockings, deadlocks, performance problems within AX, taking the experience from 1st level supporters into account
Assess capacity planning and infrastructure sizing of all infrastructure components in the AX platform
Plan and schedule corrective actions with the stakeholders: the ongoing project with architects, developers etc, infrastructure team, operations teams etc All of this should reduce the likelihood of production issues like SQL blockings.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of SQL Databases
Knowledge of AX2012 architecture in regards to Manufacturing and Finance
Ability to analyze requirements for successful solution maintenance after go-live, in terms of database administration Timeframe
Location
To be based in Copenhagen, but will frequently travel to Thailand (Bangkok and Lamphun)
