Microsoft BI/DWH Analyst - Luxembourg

Skills and experience:
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent background with minimum 6 years of experience ornon-University Degree with minimum 10 years of experience in IT Development
- Successfully carried out similar data warehouse scoping and analysis projects
- Proven experience in Sharepoint 2010 and/or Sharepoint 2013, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerPivot, PowerView, PowerMaps and specific areas in domains such as design and creation of Business Intelligence/DataWarehouse solutions, data import from external data sources (SharePoint lists, Oracle Databases, other SQL Server databases), and web services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server
Description of work:
- Scope the DWH project in the context and precisely define the objectives and the goals to be met
- Analyse business requirements, the data sources and draft the appropriate artefacts (ie translate business needs into functional and technical specifications and architectures)
- Contribute to the planning and estimation phases and to report on the progress and the work done
- Design and create Relational Database Models, Data warehouse Models
- Design, configure, develop and perform testing in SQL Server 2008R2/2012R2, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerPivot, PowerView, PowerMaps, Sharepoint , Visual Studio, SQL, XML technologies and the required components
- Integrate the Data warehouse with a Sharepoint site, from where the users will be able to open and work with their reports
- Perform the unit/integration/system/non regression tests and to support user acceptance tests
- Update the software repositories used by the Client (TFS or SVN) and JIRA with the work delivered
- Produce technical documentation
- Provide assistance with deployments in various environments including production environments
- Investigate incidents, identify the root cause and apply workarounds and definite solutions
