Description
Support Engineer L1 / L2 with profound Splunk knowledge for our Zurich based client in the IT sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years working experience with significant experience within UNIX especially in handling files, searching logs and checking processes
- Extensive experience writing SQL queries in Oracle and Microsoft SQL
- Solid experience analysing Stack Traces and working with Splunk
- Knowledge of MQ, J2EE,.Net systems, Control M batch and Swift Messages are beneficial
- Basic knowledge of banking systems and business flows as well as an ITIL certification would be preferable
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing and guiding the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
- Supervising tickets and change requests as well as managing SLAs
- Preparing and submitting status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations
- Working towards continuous improvement and perform root cause analysis on an ongoing basis
