Description
Software Engineer SDLC wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Software Engineer with excellent Java skills
- Deep knowledge of order / executions management systems in financial markets as well as practical know-how of distributed computing and low-latency, multithreaded solutions
- Working experience in large-scale enterprise and object-oriented design along with understanding of connectivity and protocols like Fix and Swift
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mind-set and an independent working routine
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, knowledge in German is an asset
Your tasks:
- Developing software components as defined by the systems development life cycle as well as testing unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Assisting the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Ensuring that the produced code is secure, stable and operational
- Supervising daily operational business along with contributing to changes in processes and procedures
