Proteus Europe is searching for Middleware Application support available to work in a long term contract foe one of our clients in Belgium.

Your New role:-
The Middleware application support will:
- Integrate and Deploy the eDelivery components
- Test and participate in the improvement of the next releases
- Support the applications in both acceptance and production environments
- Monitor the applications availability
- Troubleshoot and investigate infrastructure and software issues
- Manage tickets related to Incidents, requests, and problems
- Escalate incidents, requests, and problems via Jira to the 3rd line Support
- Insure Jira escalated issues quality
- Develop internal tools
Your Skills and experience:-
The Middleware application support needs to have a minimum of 3 years experience in:
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
- Databases: Oracle 11g, MySQL
- Application Servers: WebLogic, TOMCAT, and Wildfly
- Methods: Scrum and ITIL
- Tools: Eclipse, Jira, SMT, Maven, Docker, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI
- Programming: Java, J2EE, .NET (nice to have)
- Enterprise: SOA, JMS, Hibernate, Web Services, REST, Spring Batch, Servlets, JSF, JSP
- Writing: Technical writing of Administration and deployment guides
Required languages:
- English and other European languages are nice to have
Working conditions:
- Work shifts of 8 hours (08:00 am - 06:00 pm) from Monday to Friday. Some overtime maybe required from time to time
