TITLE: Oracle Applications Database Administrator (DBA)
LOCATION: St. Paul, MN or Hampton, VA
POSITION TYPE: Contract - Initially 6 months
Local candidates to either St. Paul, MN or Hampton, VA are STRONGLY PREFERRED. A FACE TO FACE interview WILL BE REQUIRED.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6 years - Oracle E-business Suite administration experience supporting a production environment
- Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control to monitor databases
- Experience with Oracle replication using Oracle Data Guard
- Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through various stages of the development life cycle
- Expertise in Oracle 11g/12c and related utilities including Oracle SQL*Plus, SQL Loader, RMAN, and Enterprise Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup, support and manage Oracle E-business Suite applications and databases in production, test and development environments
- Create and perform administration of Oracle EBS R12 and 11i environments along with 11g and 12c databases in standalone and primary/standby configuration
- Perform EBS management and administration, including infrastructure strategy, design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance
- Build and support Oracle E-business Suite R12/11i and Oracle 11gR2/12c databases
- Cloning, code deployment and migration, applying patches and providing user support for Oracle E-business Suite environments
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures using RMAN
- Perform health checks and proactive monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and UNIX Shell Scripts
- Implement and maintain EBS/database security
- Be on site during normal working hours and to provide occasional after hours 24x7 support
