Description
Scala Developer with extensive experience of working with Scala on web solutions is required to join our existing team of Developers for this governmental organisation in Worthing to assist in their new agile Scrum projects. The successful Scala Developer will also be expected to have good experience and expertise in paired programming techniques, particularly in being able to articulate a clear train of thought and to explain reasoning behind decisions made.
The successful Scala Developer will be working in an established team tasked with building web and mobile products for both internal and external users by implementing web APIs, therefore Scala Developers must have good experience of building Server Side web solutions in Scala working with functional languages.
Scala Developers applying MUST have the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience; have experience of working on agile scrum projects within a team environment; be able to use version control systems such as subversion or git and be able to quickly learn new programming tools and techniques.
