Role: C# Developer
Duration: 6 months
Location: Budapest, Hungary
.NET, experience with desktop Windows development
Primary responsibilities
- Developing desktop user interfaces based on user requirements and/or specifications
- UI layout and architecture design with UX in mind
- Sorting out user requirements and collaborating with underlying IT System owners
Skills required
- 1+ years experience in WPF development skills desirable - C#, WPF, WCF (Infragistics)
- 1+ years experience in desktop development using OOP, MVVM
- Invoking Back End components, eg SOAP/PubSub middle-tiers
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, multi-tasking, working with distributed teams, taking ownership, complying to SDLC
Team description
Client is looking for a developer who can contribute to the centralized desktop GUI development which is used by a wide variety of internal users globally.
Given that the application provides UI for multiple LD IT Systems, the development is diversified, giving the ability to gather knowledge about the full stack of the LD tech.
Moreover, the GUI plays a unique and important role in the LD space as it acts as the display window for many of the underlying IT Systems. It grows and evolves rapidly as more and more LD IT Systems onboarding.
The platform is built using n-tier infrastructure: UI written in C#/WPF; middle tier(s) in Java and Back End using DB/MQ/PubSub.
The team consists of 3 UI and 2 Back End developer and keen on agile delivery primarily focusing on application development but providing L3 support as well.
