Oracle Developer
Our client is one of Irelands largest Software Development organisations. Based in Cork, this company is continuing to grow and expand their dynamic team.
They require an Oracle Developer with 4 years commercial development and support experience in Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g based applications. This initial 6-month contact will see the successful candidate working on a major n-tier enterprise application.

What would a general day involve?
- Application Design and Requirements analysis
- Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers
- Delivery of application developments using standard Oracle development methodologies
- Cooperating on design and development and work well with other developers on the team
- Adhering to applicable design, development, test, and Q/A procedures
- Bug Fixing and Enhancement Implementation
- Communication of designs to management and developers
How can I stand out from the crowd?
- Development and support experience in Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g
- Proficient in PLSQL, SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials 11i (AR/AP/GL), Crystal Reports, Oracle Reports 10g, Java, PReS (Document composition language), IBM WebSphere Data Interchange is desirable.
- Experience with SQL*PLUS, TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL*LOADER, Redwood Explorer
