GCS Construction/Geotechnical Engineer/London - East Grinstead - Manchester - Sheffield/£35 - £45 per hour/Immediate start
GCS Construction are currently recruiting for a Geotechnical engineer to assist with highways and water projects in the London area. My client is a well-established company who are actively looking for an experienced (at least 2-3 years) engineer who has a strong background in geotechnical engineering.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in the analysis, design and specification of geotechnical structures, including sheet pile walls and reservoir embankments - Eurocode 7 and CIRIA C731 experience is essential. The experience must include familiarity with slope stability software and seepage flow models.
- Preparation of geotechnical desk studies and geotechnical interpretative reports (GIRs)
- A robust understanding of geotechnical principles and their practical application with particular knowledge in the water environment
