A leading organisation within Social Media is seeking an Emerging Talent Support to join their Media Partnerships team based in London. The team is supporting a major initiative to connect people with the public figures and media they care about. This role will also involve executing our scaled outreach campaigns to create and sustain new partnerships.

This individual will work directly with media partners, acting as a primary contact, providing support, collecting feedback, and managing communication. The successful candidate will have Customer service experience and have a passion for entertainment, news and sports where they will have ideally worked within the media industry!

This role will be focused on supporting emerging talent in the Middle East - so the successful candidate MUST be able to speak Arabic (Egyptian Arabic).

Duties:

  • Become an expert in the support experience for public figures and media companies
  • Recommend products and solutions and assist partners with implementation of new products
  • Solicit, organise, and contextualise product feedback from partners
  • Organise lists of media partners and track support requests
  • Help educate and on-board new partners
  • Troubleshoot to quickly resolve partner issues
  • Ensure the success of partners through basic training and consultations
  • Develop and catalogue best practices leveraging internal and external learnings across the news ecosystem

Skills:

  • BA or BS Degree or higher
  • Comfortable offering customer support over the phone and live at events
  • Experience in communications or online operations
  • Passionate about creating world-class service experiences that delight partners
  • Ability and experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative in uncertain, dynamic environments
  • Exceptional communication and the ability to serve as a spokesperson
  • Motivated to support public figures and media companies in achieving their objectives
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape and a passion for news and media
  • Previous experience working with web or mobile developers is preferred
  • Experience in the news/media industry is strongly preferred
  • MUST be able to speak and write fluent Arabic (Egyptian Arabic)
