Your New role :-
The successful candidate will take ownership of the architecture, design, implementation and support of new and existing in -house applications and integrations within our application landscape. As a Senior Java Developer, you are part of our Software Development Team working in close cooperation with our IT business application owners and our Service and Infrastructure teams . This position requires expert Java and Web development skills, communication skills, motivation to learn new technologies and the desire to work in a team to
deliver best solutions for our business.
- Working together in a team and delivering results within an agile environment
- Effective and open communication with IT and business colleagues
- Analysis of business requirements and translation into technical solutions
- Web development of new intuitive front-end solutions as well as maintenance and extension of existing applications.
- Guarantee of consistent approach and maintainable code
- Communication with internal clients, other team members and project leaders
- Implementation of Unit and Integration tests
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
Backend: Java EE and/or Spring, Spring Boot beneficial, XML, JSON/REST, Hibernate, JUnit
- Front-end: HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript beneficial;
knowledge in one of AngularJS, Angular 2 or React/Redux
- Build: Maven; knowledge in Webpack beneficial
- Experience with Microservices architecture and development welcomed

- Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in order to communicate with all levels of the business and IT
- Being delivery and customer focused: delivers quality in an efficient manner while meeting deadlines

We look for candidates:
- Minimum 5 years of professional Java experience
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Self-driven and proud to take ownership
- Interested in continuing to work with web technologies and UI
design
- With strong language skills - a high English standard is required; German is a plus
