Description
Our direct, well-known client located in a suburb of Cleveland is looking for an experienced SAS Programmer to work within a Mainframe environment. This is a long term contract opportunity, and Mainframe/SAS experience is required. A solid understanding of complex SAS logic will be needed to evaluate and redesign current processes, in order to reduce the time elapsed for product R&D.This will be a great opportunity to work in a challenging and supportive environment, that will lead to exposure and work experience with additional "Big Data" technologies like Hadoop and PDW (Parallel Data Warehouse) -- apply today!
Required:
- Significant programming experience with SAS in a Mainframe environment (working with complex SAS logic)
- Good experience working with large volumes of data (100+ TB)
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience exporting SAS to Excel
