Guidewire Architect

Guidewire Architect is Urgently required for a major client for a long term position. This assignment in particular will include Guidewire specific design work, troubleshooting, and optimization especially on the integration side. This role will also provide the necessary software development leadership to the development team

Main Responsibilities:

  • Architect, lead, design, and develop integrations on Guidewire Policy, Claims and Billing systems that may include the following activities:
  • Facilitate requirements, analysis, and design discussions surrounding assigned integration tasks with other team members and subject matter experts
  • Analyze and estimate integration design and development effort
  • Design and document integrations and integration components
  • Be able to clearly communicate different ways to complete an integration when necessary, including the advantages and disadvantages of each approach
  • Develop and unit test integration components
  • Leverage established frameworks and best-practices, while continuing to promote continuous improvement and alternatives where appropriate

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a deep understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Integration Architecture
  • Must be familiar with developing inside of the Spring framework or something similar
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be motivated to learn and develop new skills
  • Must be willing to be challenged and accept constructive feedback
  • Must have Guidewire software experience.
  • Familiarity with WebSphere is a positive
