Proteus Europe is searching for a Drupal Web Developer for our client based in Brussels, BelgiumOur Client :-

The selected candidate will work in the in-house development team of the DG JUST B4 unit. Place of work is in Brussels, Belgium
Your New role :-
Design and development of new Drupal web applications
Review of the architecture of existing systems
Design of component architecture and building blocks
Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
Production of software documents
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Testing, deployment, evaluation and the reporting
Validation and technical follow-up of use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, and release notes, test plans, submitted by the contractor in the course of B4 unit projects development
iaise with DG DIGIT and the contractors for the installation and configuration of systems releases.
Release management
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
In depth knowledge of Drupal and PHP. .
In depth knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, WebAPI, Web 2.0,..). In depth knowledge of web applications design (e.g. responsive web).
Good knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML)
Good knowledge of business process analysis
Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
Knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service bus).
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE)
Good redaction skills
Ability to give technical presentations
Ability to apply high quality standards
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in team working
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (at least in English and/or French), ease of communication. .
Education and experience .
Minimum 12 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary schoo
Minimum 10 years of IT professional experience.
In depth understanding of a Web Content Management environments.
Experience with search engines their optimisation. .
Experience with the SCRUM methodology
