Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud environment)
Exciting opportunity to work with a world-class organization as a Systems Engineer. This is an incredible opportunity to be on a high profile team organization responsible for delivering products to millions. You must be able to be hands-on with configuring on-prem applications to run in AWS. In this role you must also be able to understand application operations be able to partner with the network and cloud teams to configure and migrate core applications.
You will be working collaboratively with various internal customers to help environments move from on-prem to the cloud. About 80% is on-prem currently and 20% is in the cloud, with a greater push to move more toward cloud.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-7 years overall experience
- Experience configuring on-prem applications to run in AWS
- Experience in a Linux environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-pace environment
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Scripting (Bash or Ruby) with the ability to read and modify
- Configuration Management (preferably with Chef)
- Bamboo
- ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)
- EC2, S3
- Docker
- Other technologies: nginx, Apache, Tomcat, LDAP and open source technologies
