Our exciting market leading client is seeking Java Wizards/Experts to join their team.
Working in a fun, fast paced environment in the office in Lodz you will be creating and extending web services for geocoding and searching address'. Given the broadness of the free text search domain, you will be encouraged to investigate and implement algorithms improving performance and results accuracy.
As a key member of the team you will influence design decisions, architecture and choice of tooling used by the team.
Working with a wide diversity of technologies including Cloud Computing (AWS), Java, Apache Lucene, Git, Maven, Shell Scripts, etc., will offer you the opportunity to continuously broaden your skill set and keep on learning new skills.
The ideal person will:
* Be a total Java wizard
* Have experience with Spring
* Have experience in Python, Bash, Perl, SQL
* Be comfortable working in an Aglie environment
* Have knowledge of Linux, CI (Jenkins), AWS, Maven or Git is a plus
* Apache Lucene is a total bonus
Duties
* Create the Server Side systems that handle logic for multiple web services
* Create, extend and handle the tool chain for map data pre-processing
* Design architecture ideas that may improve the present product
* Write efficient and maintainable code, whilst meeting the agreed requirements
