Financial Services client of mine is looking to add a Senior UI Developer to their technology team on a 6 month rolling contract basis.
It's a very interesting time to join this team as from speaking with the Hiring Manager he mentioned that you will be part of the process and have a voice in what direction they will move in over the next 6-8 weeks in regards what frameworks they are going to move forward with. At present it's looking most likely that there will be 60% on the Angular side (version 2 and 4) and 40% on the React side.
They are looking for someone who is strong in the following:
Comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability
Ability to write cross-browser and standards compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability and performance requirements
Solid mark-up skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3
Highly skilled at Front End engineering using a modern client-side technology stack that can include: CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less), Gulp, Node, Bower, Webpack, React or Angular.js.
Strong written and oral communication skills
