Financial Analyst is required for a contract position in Gosport, UK.
Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. Our Government client is looking for a Financial Analyst, this will be a contract role for 10-11 Months initially.
Essential Experience:
- To provide an IA to support the FSDC Initial Gate and Main Gate Business Case
- Produce an IA, based upon the 4 options under consideration, in accordance with relevant JSPs and standard business practice and liaise with the FSDC IPT to provide guidance on other aspects of the Business Case.
- The Lead Scrutineer & Delivery Organisation and DP&AS must scrutinise the Business Case prior to submission to IAB. It is assumed that the full Investment Approvals Board (IAB) process is to be followed.
- The Team will deliver a written report on the results of the options under consideration and the IA must be compiled in accordance with JSP 655.
- The IA must fit the model for IAB submissions and should therefore:
- Be based around 3 point estimates throughout.
- Provide input to a costed Risk Register.
- Provide input to the Master Data & Assumptions List (MDAL).
- Show the results of the IA at the 10%, 50% and 90% levels of confidence having been subjected to Monte Carlo simulation.
- Include an assessment of Optimism Bias.
