Williams Lea Tag seeks a Front End Developer to join the join the Web Development Team based in Norwich or South London on a 6 month contract basis!
Are you a client focused experienced Front Developer with the ability to implement robust and high quality web applications according to specification documents / user stories? Do you the ability to work independently and simultaneously across multiple projects? Are you experienced in developing websites in JavaScript including jQuery, HTML5, along with knowledge of the full range of language features, CSS up to and including CSS3, cross-browser compatibility testing and development? Do you have experience in working with Adobe Experience Manager?

Job Overview:
As Front End Developer, you will be work in a dedicated Web Development Team within a fast-moving and growing Technology function. The Technology group provides services through all areas of the software development lifecycle and you will therefore work with the latest technologies on client-facing bespoke development projects as well as development of internal platforms and systems.
You will work alongside a team of developers to build websites with a range of technologies and for multiple clients therefore experience with both Waterfall and Agile software development frameworks would be advantageous. This is a client facing role and you will participate in the full product lifecycle, from design to deployment, to post launch phases including technical support and editorial and technical training. The main skills required for this role are JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 & CSS. A working knowledge of Apache web servers is expected; experience of working with AWS is an advantage.
This is a new contract position based in South London, Monday - Friday working between 9:00am - 5:30pm. There will be an expectation to travel to other Williams Lea sites as and when necessary. *Full job description available on request.
Required Experience:
We are looking for a client focused Front End Developer with strong experience in web technology, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 & CSS. A working knowledge of Apache web servers is expected; experience of working with AWS is an advantage. Adobe Experience Manager experience is highly desirable. You will have demonstrable experience in the implementation of robust and high quality web applications according to specification documents / user stories. You will also have experience of the software development lifecycle and Agile development methodologies.
