Proteus Europe is searching for a consultant who has experience with Oracle, PL/SQL and Business Intelligence for a 6 month initial project.Our Client :-
They are a well-respected consultancy company who provide a market leading service to a wide range of corporations in both the private sector (banking and insurance), and also the public sector and the European Institutions. They have a proven track record over the last 40 years and have profitably doubled in size on average every 4 years. They have a global reach and have offices in the Americas as well as in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Your New role :-
You main tasks will be:-
Translate business needs to technical specifications following client recommendations;
Analysis for the rationalisation and harmonization of existing reporting solutions;
Maintain and support the existing data analytics solutions based on SAP Business Objects;
Design, build and deploy new BI solutions based on SAP Business Objects, including Universes, ETL procedures and standard reports;
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting;
Evaluate and improve existing BI Systems;
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems;
Develop and execute database queries and conduct data quality analyses;
Create visualizations and attractive reports for requested projects based on SAP Business Objects;
Explore and promote other data visualization tools to facilitate the production of attractive and intuitive reports or dashboards, such as Qlikview or Qliksense;
Maintain technical documentation
It would be useful if you have:-
experience in relational databases and Oracle PL/SQL;
8 years minimum experience in Business Intelligence:
Ability to design the semantic layer as the pillar for a BI Solution;
Experience in design of the universes and reports on SAP Business objects;
Experience in design of TEL procedures form the transactional systems to populate the universes;
Experience in other Business Intelligence tools will be an advantage, such as Qlik products;
Proven ability to meet deadlines;
Skills to conduct presentations to customers and good communication in general.
Preferred skills:
Fluent in French and/or English, both speaking and writing
