New Contract Opportunity: Full Stack Developer - Python/Ruby/Groovy - Banking - Amsterdam, Netherlands
A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Developer with Python, Ruby, Groovy experience working onsite at a global Banking organisation based in Netherlands. This is a contract Opportunity to start immediately for a duration of minimum 6 months with extension.
Skills and Experience:
- You have knowledge of Scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Groovy, good knowledge of modern application Servers such as Nginx and Tomcat, good knowledge of enterprise level networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, SFTP, Proxy, Firewalls) and excellent knowledge of OS fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems, eg RHEL, CentOS etc. You are at least a rockstar in one of these areas.
- You enjoy to come up with solutions in new technologies
- You have experience with working in a complex and challenging IT environment
- You have experience in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps Team
- You are a team player and a true professional in every way
- You speak up, are transparent and not shy to confront somebody
- You handle production support issues as they arise

- You have an attitude of succeeding and think innovative. You are ambitious, flexible and deliver what and when you promise.
- You have good knowledge and real-world experience in provisioning environments with tools such as Puppet, Chef and Docker, as well as knowledge of NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra
- You have experience with modern OSS tools such as Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Sonar.
- It is a big nice-to-have if you have knowledge of well-known OSS tools in the area of Performance/Capacity/Availability Monitoring, such as Ganglia, Nagios, Graphite, Zabbix.
- You are always pro- active, when you take a risk, it is calculated.
