I am currently recruiting for a PHP developer for a role based in Belgium in Mechelen for a long term assignment. you must speak DUTCH for this role.
Context
As a developer, you are a developer in a team that is responsible for Client's e-shop, an important link for joining the family. You are looking for a healthy balance between technical complexity and managing as many customers as possible while keeping an outstanding performance in mind. You keep a good overview of all the components of the application and you know when to pragmatically distinguish between future-proof solutions and requirements that need to be done quickly.
Responsibilities
- Convert and develop the requirements and user stories into an appropriate architecture and solution in consultation with the internal client, IT architecture and IT Middleware;
- Writing automated unit and integration tests;
- Formulating improvement proposals;
- Developing technical guidelines;
- Documenting the implemented architecture and solution;
Profil
- Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience as PHP developer (Drupal may also)
- Excellent control of Dutch and English
- Application Servers like Apache
- Frameworks as Zend Framework and AngularJS
- SCRUM, TDD, Continuous Integration;
- Tools like GIT (Stash), Jenkins and Jira;
- Implementation of, and integration with, Web Services (SOAP, JSON);
- Knowledge and experience with SOAP web services (via OSB) is a plus point;
- Send Certified
- Global knowledge of Linux, networking, Scripting & security concepts.
