ETL SQL Developer - Contract Dublin city centre 6-18 months.
My client a global leader in their industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced ETL SQL Developer to join their team on a contract basis for 6-18 months.
This role is well suited to a strong developer with 3+ years of applicable experience and a good knowledge of SQL and relational databases. In addition, any previous experience of Netezza databases and Informatica ETL would be highly beneficial. This role, based in my clients Dublin city centre office, is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in new technologies and investment banking. The candidate will work in the Balance Sheet Capital Management team and will be contributing to some of the most significant risk projects in the organisation in a highly agile environment. The successful candidate will work in a global team with colleagues in Ireland, the UK, India and the US.
Successful candidates will have experience with ANSI SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL,etc).If you have experience with developing on the Netezza platform is highly preferred. You will have performed Query Optimisation strategies, ETL Development and you will have experience with working with data sets from multiple sources (Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, SQL Server, etc.) You will be Proficient in Data Warehousing concepts, including Star/Snowflake schemas, and you will have experience Dimensional tables (Type 1, Type 2). Experience in banking/finance sector desired but not essential.
