Proteus Europe is searching for some C or C++ Embedded Software engineers who have had some previous experience in an Automotive environment to work with one of our clients in the Netherlands.Our Client :-
Our client has more than 20 years of experience in the international automotive industry, working across the OEM supply chains with well-known Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in Europe, Asia, USA, with major impact on Germany. They are at the forefront of many of the latest developments in the field of telematics based integrations. Their key role is the engineering of state-of-the art embedded software for electronic control units (ECU's) and systems for Instrumentation and Driver HMI, Infotainment and Connectivity, Vehicle Telematics, Body and Security, Chassis and Safety and Powertrains. With their model-based development tools they enable their clients to automatically generate and seamlessly integrate this software without programming skills.
Your New role :-
We are looking for an inquisitive Embedded Software engineer for our automotive unit. You will work with classical and mechatronic vehicle fields, using Embedded software such as C, C++, various microcontrollers and RTOS. You will be working on various projects in which you might seek solutions for autonomous driving, telematics and advanced driver assistant systems. For instance in the areas of steering, braking, accelerating, connectivity, intelligent headlights and high-end cluster instruments.

Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- You are familiar with various technologies, such as DOORS, UML, C, C++, Assembler, I2C, CAN, Flexray, MOST, LIN, Vector tooling, AUTOSAR, Linux, RTOS, flash bootloading, processors from Freescale, Renesas or Infineon.
- You are inquisitive, flexible and enthusiastic.
Desirable Skills :-
- CAN
- Autosar
- ISO26262
- Experience with various technologies such as Matlab/-Simulink, DSpace Targetlink, ISO26262 Safety Standards, EOBD, KWP2000, UDS, J1939 or vehicle dynamics is a plus.
