Description
Database Engineer Oracle/SQL wanted for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering
- At least 5 years' experience in SQL and PL / SQL, Java know-how (JDBC and JPA) is considered a plus
- Expert knowledge of Databases, preferably Oracle
- Very good data modelling skills with the ability to work in a team
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German knowledge is a big plus
Your tasks:
- Defining, documenting and maintaining the logical as well as the physical data model
- Analyzing DB productions issues as well as performance bottlenecks
- Creating and implementing DB designs, performance tuning and optimization of database systems (Oracle)
- Ensuring consistency on how data is used and stored as well as running and assisting the production deployments
- Supporting and consulting the delivery team in relation to performance-related optimization if necessary
