Description
Our client, a leading software development company and employer of choice, is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and dedicated Front End & Application Developer/Designer for a minimum 12 month contract within their Melbourne team. Ideally they are looking to employ a developer with a solid understanding of the elements and principles of design and the use of templates.
To be considered for this opportunity the following are the required skills and experience:
Essentuial:
A demonstrable ability to deliver clean, precise, responsive and highly usable web interfaces
An understanding of JavaScript beyond jQuery & plugins
An understanding of CSS preprocessors like LESS & SASS
An expert knowledge of CSS3/HTML5 and UI frameworks like Bootstrap or Fountain
Experience with Server Side technologies like PHP or Java
Experience with Front End JS Frameworks like Angular or EmberJS
A solid understanding of React native
A comprehensive background in Application Developement
Desirable:
Experience with developing to WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards
Experience with Git
Working in an Agile environment
Knowledge of the Education and Assessment sector
UX Design experience
