For our customer we are looking for a Weblogic Engineer
This is a role to help and enhance the team that creates a cd/ci-pipeline using anisble, deploying to mainly WebLogic.
The role will involve:
You will be working as a key member within a highly agile environment delivering business value through.
You will be expected to work hand in hand with product owners, development, testing and infrastructure people to identify and realize engineering solutions to enable increased efficiency across the full development, delivery and support life cycle. This include developer tooling, delivery automation tooling and tooling enabling a stop the line' culture (dash boarding/monitoring/chat channel bots/..).
The Weblogic Engineer position is a hands-on expert role. You must be an individual who thrives on providing technical solutions to problems and who constantly seeks opportunities for improvement.
Your key responsibilities working in this environment include:
Implementation and configuration of WebLogic
Java development using maven
Automation tooling enablement
Implement support for monitoring and reporting tools (dashboards, chat bot solutions)
Working with/supporting members of the various project teams
Automate all we can think of
Idea creation and realisation of tooling to enable stop the line' mentality
Continually working on new solutions that drive team empowerment
Improving the CI/CD pipeline

Who we are looking for:
It is essential that you are a team player, and are happy to work in a very transparent and highly communicative/collaborate manner. You will require excellent verbal communication skills; able to articulate clearly to technical team members during agile ceremonies and to work with product owners in the elaboration of user stories. You should have worked in a similar environment and have a full appreciation of the agile and devops (cultural and technology) ways of working.
Must have:
Good knowledge and experience with Java development using maven
Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Jenkins or similar CI tool)
Scripting experience, preferably Python
Experience of using a modern Source Control system, eg Git.
Strong Linux and command line skills
Experience of agile collaboration and methods
Weblogic experience seen from a deployment perspective
Nice to Have:
Docker
Orchestration tooling experience, eg Kubernetes
Database experience, particularly Oracle
NoSQL experience, particularly Cassandra
Moder testing tools, including API, browser and performance testing

Modern Java ecosystem

Key responsibilities
Delivery of ci/cd-pipeline ansible roles and ansible playbooks, and working with in the team.
