IPTV OpenShift specialist
Task Description:
We are looking for a technical specialist, with good knowledge of Redhat Openshift and CI/CD and preferable familiar with the solution of the company for Interactive Digital TV. Besides the technical skills, he/she should be able to interact with different partners, inside and outside the company, requiring organisational and reporting skills. Experience with agile way of working is an asset.
He/she will be part of a team, leading important architectural changes within the IPTV domain.
His/her main tasks will be:
*Understand the new architecture proposed by the IPTV Architectural team within the company
*Translate the new architectural principles to concrete implementation steps
*Follow up the implementation, report to management about progress and problems
*Test and validate the results of the implemented solutions
*Be able to analyze problems in depth, in cooperation with other teams

*report and communicate in a clear way, depending on the audience (business, external partners, technical teams)
*stir up enthusiasm in the teams working on sub areas
*prioritize and deprioritize subtasks, keeping the timing and budgetary constraints into account
*make decisions or support other decisions with an open mind
Education:
Master in Industrial or Engineering Sciences
Experience:
5-10 year professional experience in IT environment, experience with OpenShift and CI/CD.
Enhanced knowledge of DEVOPS methodology.
Proven Scripting skills in popular languages like Perl, Python.
Experience in developing and designing Ansible scripts.
General skills:
*Fluently understanding and speaking English; knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus
