My client,one of the leading companies in the Oil and Gas industry are looking for a driven Embedded Software Developer to join their fast pace Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating Software functional requirements, conduct Embedded Software testing and trials to ensure the design is fit for purpose.
Essential Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong C or C++ in an Embedded, bare metal or multi threaded RTOS environment
- Full understanding of the Software Development cycle
- Extensive background in the design of Embedded Software Development
- Experienced with Hardware and Software interfacing
- Strong background with the ability to analyse, debug and resolve software and hardware problems
Desirable:
- Education to degree level in either or Electronics, Physics or Computer Science
- Software development to achieve IEC varients
- Experienced in Software Development to meet MISRA C:2012 or MISRA C++:2008
