Description
My Client an award winning AAA studio are looking for an established UI Artist who has a wealth of experience in successfully working on multiple released game titles to come on board and help with the studio's new IP set release early 2018.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Be able to work alongside other UI Artists to creatively execute designs
- Create new 2d assets and animations
- Polish existing 2d assets
- Create and optimise asset creation workflows
- Work alongside Designers and Engineers to understand specifications while considering and push technical boundaries
- Work with production management to prioritise tasks and have a good understanding of workflows
Development knowledge
- 1+ full game cycle of industry art content production experience
- Experience and knowledge of game development and terminology ideal
- Deep knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find timely workarounds for various technical issues
- Strong knowledge of designing for web UI a bonus.
- Understanding of constraints & opportunities in designing for HTML/CSS/JS frameworks a bonus.
