Computational Scientist (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Working closely with other scientists, prepare large Systems Toxicology datasets to share with the community
- Select, process, analyze, and visualize data such as Transcriptomics, Lipidomics, Genomics
- Develop scientific challenges to be open to the crowd, including formulation of the scientific questions, preparation of the datasets, development and application of a scoring strategy
- Develop, in collaboration with other scientists, scientific communications material ranging from abstracts to articles, posters, and videos.
- Engage with key scientific stakeholders worldwide (through travel and electronic conferencing).
- Perform testing of bioinformatics software applications as applicable to the relevant systems biology data modalities.
- Function as a member of a multidisciplinary program team which executes scientifically challenging projects.
- Contact with scientists and key stakeholders while attending the Challenge booth at conferences may be required
Your qualifications
- Master in data science, bioinformatics, or Computational Biology with profound working experience
- Organized and dynamic team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to organize and realize multiple tasks on a tight/changing schedule.
- Good programming skills in R mandatory and additional languages are of advantage
- Knowledge in new generation sequencing is beneficial
- Fluency in English (spoken & written)
