Description
My client, one of the largest and globally established consultancy firms here in Dublin city centre, are currently on the lookout for a Cobol Developer to come and join their highly successful and award winning technology team of consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Coding developments and changes as defined within a given technical design.
- Working within a framework of code quality and unit test testing standards.
- Initiate and implement integration tests, as well as automating tests where appropriate.
- Ensuring code and coding developments are standardised and peer reviewed.
- Providing system test support when code is migrated to System Test (including SIR resolution).
What you will have:
- 2-4 years' experience working with Cobol programming for business/applications.
- Experience working with Mainframe databases.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
