Description
Application Engineer - Senior wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Extensive C# development experience in addition to solid T-SQL and .NET WinForms development experience
- Familiarity of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 server side development including SSIS and SSRS
- Strong understanding of and relevant skills in JavaScript, D3, HTML5 and Python technology
- Previous exposure to portfolio management business and database administration experience would be advantageous
- This position requires excellent communication and technical skills.
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Maintaining and enhancing the existing data warehouse imports, exports and reports
- Developing data exports and imports as well as new SSIS/SSRS packages to meet business needs
- Perform quality checks on data imports, monitoring jobs and job queues and providing business users the data required for ad-hoc analysis
- Sustaining and upgrading existing SSRS reports
- Progressing end user WinForms front-end in C# and analyzing and optimizing underperforming queries and code
