Description
IT Architect - DevOps / Docker / Python / Jenkins - wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial services sector. This is a long term project and requires a candidate with a strong technical background coupled with good project management / coordination skills. The role will involve ensuring that IT is consistent in terms of architecture, data flow security and operations. Reviewing IT impacts on project environment and facilitating communications to find solutions.Your experience/skills:
- IT Architecture / DevOps methods experience - Docker / Jenkins
- Strong project management skills to work with various teams including senior management
- Experience in working in an agile development team
- IT impact analysis
- Good knowledge on Linux, Windows and Active Directory environments
- Development in Python is highly desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analyse IT project requirements and develop solution architecture
- Advising senior management on technical options and impact on IT operations
- Identify critical issues in production environments
- Support IT and business in building efficient delivery and production management of applications in agile / DevOps mode
- Develop foundations of reusable architecture
- Support in project planning and management
- Role is based in Zurich with some travel within Europe
