A Release manager & Technical architect urgently required for a 3 months contract based in Belgium.
Responsibilities as a Release manager & Technical architect Symphony:
* Design PHP/Symfony 2 applications
* Checking and validating technical design (functional & non-functional requirements)
* Ensure code quality and compliance adherence
* Provide/review technical design documentation & code
* PEN and vulnerability testing
* Providing input for Symfony 2 to 3 migration
* Devops release management
* Coordinating releases and ensuring timely releases according to the planning
* Ensure all required documentation is in place to adhere to SDLC and compliance requirements
* Familiar with Git/bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, ...
* Configuration management - puppet/chef
* Assisting in migration from Puppet to Chef
Skills expected and required:
* Architectural insight in software development and integration
* Development and design of applications in PHP, Symfony 2 & 3, including integration & security (Active Directory, Janrain, ...)
* Able to assess and review PHP code to ensure quality and secure code
* Experienced in using and setting up continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Git/Bitbucket, ...)
* Familiar with configuration management (Puppet, Chef)
* Location: Belgium
